CONDITION OF ENTRY
1 ELIGIBILITY
1.1 The event is open to amateur Junior golfers (<18) with an official Australian Handicap as at the date of competition and who are a financial playing Members of a PRIVATE GOLF COURSE. (Social & Public Golf Clubs not accepted)
2 MATCH COMMITTEE
2.1 The Club’s Match Committee will have sole management and control of the event.
2.2 The Match Committee’s decision on matters affecting the event will be final.
2.3 The decision of the Club’s Match Committee as to acceptance or refusal of any entry will be final.
3 RULES OF PLAY
3.1 The Rules of Golf, as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Rules Limited, will apply together with the Local Rules of the Club. Slow play will not be tolerated (max time for 18 holes is 4 hrs 20 mins)
4 ENTRIES
4.1 Entries will be subject to the approval of the entrant’s home club.
4.2 Entrants must conform in all aspects to the Rules of Amateur Status, as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Rules Limited.
4.3 In the event of entries exceeding the number of places available (96), entries from those higher handicap competitors will be decided by ballot. Unsuccessful entrants will be given the opportunity to compete if withdrawals subsequently occur. Entrance fees will be refunded to entrants balloted out, who do not compete.
4.4 Refunds will not be given following the completion of the Draw. The Draw will be posted on GolfWA & Lakelands websites by Friday April 11 at 4pm.
4.5 Fully paid Entries must be received by Thursday April 10 at 4pm.
5 THE EVENT
5.1 The event will be played over 18 holes of stroke play for daily handicaps of 18 or less. A Stableford competition will be held for daily handicaps of 19+. Separate Boys and Girls Competitions
5.2 In the event of there being a tie for the overall gross winners of the event, a sudden death playoff will take place to determine the winner. All other ties will be decided by using the Australian Count Back System.
5.3 Players may only win one Major Prize.
6 PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT
6.1 All entrants assent to be bound by the Golf WA’s Code of Conduct. A copy of the code is available at www.golfwa.org.au
7 TEE OFF TIMES
7.1 Tee off times will be 2 Tee Start in the afternoon from 11:28am and may be altered to suit Player numbers. STROKE EVENT – BLUE & RED TEE / STABLEFORD EVENT – WHITE & RED TEE
8 MOTORISED CARTS
8.1 Golfers with an approved Medical Certificate with GolfWA or Lakelands Country Club.
9 Dress Regulations
9.1 On Course: View the Lakelands Country Club website.
9.2 Clubhouse: Smart Casual
10 CADDIES
10.1 Caddies are permitted to care for the course and pushing of buggies only. All other activities are forbidden. Only competitors are allowed on the greens. Competitors must not use a cart to carry Clubs subject to Clause 8.
