AM & PM ROUNDS, AND A BACON AND EGG ROLL PRIOR TO SATURDAY AND
SUNDAY AM ROUNDS
1. Entrants must have an Australian GA Handicap and be a member of a Metropolitan, Suburban, or
Country Golf Club affiliated with Golf WA and having 7 day playing rights. Public Course Clubs are
not eligible.
2. The Competition shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf and the Local Rules of the
Mount Lawley Golf Club.
3. Competitors must be ready to start at the time given in the Draw. Any competitor not on their
tee at start of the shotgun is liable to be disqualified.
4. The Match Committee of the Mount Lawley Golf Club will control the event and: -
(a) Reserves
the right to accept or refuse any entry and to restrict the number of entrants.
(b) May vary the
conditions.
(c) May fix and/or alter the starting time and starting order as it thinks fit.
(d) Shall use
the Australian Count-Back System recommended by Golf Australia in the event of a tie for any
trophy.
(e) GA Handicap limit of 20.0.
5. Disputes must be raised with the Match Committee on the day on which the disputed matter
has arisen and as soon as possible following the completion of the round. The Match Committee’s
decision shall be final.
6. Competitors will be awarded one trophy only and nett trophies will have priority.
7. The carrying and use of sand buckets to repair divots is compulsory.
8. All trophy winners are requested to attend the presentation – early players should ring the club
to check their standing
9. MLGC Dress Rules must be complied with at all times
10. Saturday play – Rolling Start AM/PM, Sunday play – shotgun start (7:30am &
12:45pm). All players must play one AM & one PM round.
11. The use of motorised carts is limited only to players with Medical Exemptions.
12. Entries close Thursday the 13th March 2017 at close of business day 5pm.
13. Field will limited to 256 Players.
