2022 Cottesloe Junior Open

Format: 18 Hole stroke play,
Time: Registration will be open at 07h00 for a shotgun start at 08h00
Entry Fee: $35.00 (includes lunch). The club reserves the right to ballot and refund entry fees. Entries without an entry fee will not be accepted.
Conditions of Play:
Players are eligible to win one trophy only, across the following categories for Boys and Girls:
• 18 Hole Gross Winner
• 18 Hole Gross Runner up
• 18 Hole Nett Winner
• 18 Hole Nett Runner up
• The event will be played over 18 holes of stroke play. The winner of the Cottesloe Junior Open will be the competitor with the lowest gross score after 18 holes. A sudden death playoff will determine the winner if there is a tie for the overall gross winner.
• All other ties will be decided using the Golf Australia Count Back System.
• A playoff will determine the Boys/Girls Gross Winner if required.
• The presentation of trophies will occur as soon as possible after the final card is returned.
• The Match Committee will have sole management and control of the event.
• The Rules of Play adopted by the Royal and Ancient Rules Limited will apply together with the Local Rules of the Club.
• Entrants must conform to all aspects of the Rules of Amateur Status, as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Rules Limited.
• All registrations for this tournament must be made via the Mitournament website, and the applicable entry fee must be received by noon Wednesday, 10 August 2022.
Open to Junior Amateur Golfers (Boys and Girls) under 18 years of age as of 1st January 2022 who are members of A, B or C Affiliated Golf Clubs
• Entries will be balloted based on handicap to a maximum field size determined by the tournament committee. Balloted players will be placed onto a reserves list, and should they not receive a place in the field will be entitled to a full refund
following the event.
• Players are not permitted to use a caddy during a stipulated round. A caddy is one who carries or handles a players clubs and one who assists the player in shot and club selection. A person that carries or provides a player with food and refreshments or assist in the search for golf balls is not considered a caddy. Parents, guardians and interested people are requested to stay at a discreet distance from the playing group unless absolutely required.
• The use of the MiScore app and ‘self-scoring’ will not be permitted. Players will be provided with a physical scorecard and must mark a scorecard for another player in their group.
All entrants consent to being bound by the Golf WA Code of Conduct. A copy of the Code is available on Golf WA’s website.
The following dress regulations apply during the event:
• On-course - Neat golf attire of collared shirt and trousers or tailored shorts or skirt. Golf Shoes - Only soft spikes may be worn on the golf course.
• Clubhouse – Smart casual attire can be worn in the clubhouse with no golf shoes.
