1 ELIGIBILITY
1.1 The event is open to Male amateur golfers with an official Australian Handicap as at the date of entry who are financial playing 18 Hole Members of a PRIVATE GOLF COURSE with Sunday playing rights.
1.2 Social & Public Golf Clubs will not be accepted.
1.3 Handicap Limit is 36.
1.4 The Match Committee reserves the right to accept or refuse entries.
2 MATCH COMMITTEE
2.1 The Club’s Match Committee will have sole management and control of the event.
2.2 The Match Committee’s decision on matters affecting the event will be final.
2.3 The decision of the Club’s Match Committee as to acceptance or refusal of any entry will be final.
3 RULES OF PLAY
3.1 The Rules of Golf, as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Rules Limited, will apply together with the Local Rules of the Club. Slow play will not be tolerated (max time for 18 holes is 4 hrs 30 mins)
4 ENTRIES
4.1 Cost of Entry: Members $20 Visitors $45
4.2 Entries will be subject to the approval of the entrant’s home club.
4.3 Entrants must conform in all aspects to the Rules of Amateur Status, as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Rules Limited.
4.4 In the event of entries exceeding the number of places available (210), entries from those higher handicap competitors will be decided by ballot.
4.5 Refunds will not be given following the completion of the Draw.
4.6 Fully paid Entries must be received by 5pm January 24.
5 THE EVENT
5.1 The event will be played over 18 holes of Stableford.
5.2 The schedule of the event will be as follows; Sunday January 29. AM & PM fields. Tees will be allocated in order of Registration. AM/PM must be nominated on registration.
5.3 All ties will be decided by using the Australian Count Back System.
5.4 Players may only win one Major Prize.
6 PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT
6.1 All entrants assent to be bound by the Golf WA’s Code of Conduct. A copy of the code is available at www.golfwa.org.au
7 TEE OFF TIMES
7.1 Tee off times will be AM Round 7:30 Shotgun Start. PM Round 12:30 Shotgun Start.
8 MOTORISED CARTS
8.1 Available through the Proshop by calling 9306 1122. (Limited fleet)
9 Dress Regulations
9.1 On Course: View the Lakelands Country Club website.
9.2 Clubhouse: Smart Casual (Golf shoes may only be worn in the Sports Bar)
