GGC members entry fee $35 and visitors is $50.
1. Eligibility A senior golfer is a playing member of a Club who is the age of 55 years and above as at 19 April 2024. Players are eligible to enter with payment of entry fee. Players must have an Australian GA Handicap and be a financial member of a Metropolitan, Suburban or Country Golf Club affiliated with Golf WA and players must have played 10 GA rounds in last 12 months (to qualify for nett prize division). Entrants with league handicaps are not eligible to enter. Entrants who are members of social clubs (without a golf course base) are not eligible to enter.
2. Format Men - Players with a GA handicap of 10.2 and below will play stroke, players with a GA Handicap above 10.2 will play Stableford. Tee off from blue tees. The field will be limited to 124 players - in the event of a full field higher handicap players will be balloted out first. The field will be limited for entries received in MiTournament at 124 to allow for administration of refunds in the event of field ballot. If the entries have reached 124 capacity, players may call GGC pro shop directly at 9455 1983 to be entered into the waiting list (without payment required) but phone call must be received prior closure of event entries. In the event of a tie, first gross ties will be played on a sudden death basis using holes 1 and 9. All other ties will be decided using, the Australian Countback system will be applied.
3. Entry fee - An entry fee of $50 (visitors) and $35 (GGC Members) is payable at the time of entry. Payments will not be accepted on the day of the competition. No refunds will be given after the draw is finalised.
4. Event Management All competitors shall be under the discretion of the Gosnells Golf Club Match Committee who have power to:
• Vary the conditions of play as may be deemed necessary.
• Refuse entry to any person.
• Penalize any competitor for slow play.
• Accept late entries.
• Draw all competitors in a suitable manner.
• Resolve disputes.
5. Disputes Any disputes will be decided by the Match Committee. Any protests must be submitted in writing to a tournament official within 15 minutes of completion of round.
6. Motorised Carts The Club has a limited fleet of 20 motorised carts that can be booked through the Golf Shop. Note, carts will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Bookings for carts a must.
