GENERAL INFORMATION FOR COMPETITORS
CLOSING DATE: Entries will be accepted in order of receipt until course capacities are reached. No refunds will be made after 3 May.
ENTRIES: Entries for the 4 days will be given preference. Numbers will be limited.
GRADES: Men – 3 Grades, Ladies – 2 Grades. Maximum handicap Men 36, Ladies 45.
CONTROL: The Match Committee shall control all competitions which shall be run in accordance with the Rules of Golf (R&A) and any modifications set out in the local rules of the golf course being played – any protests must be lodged within 15 minutes after completion of the round. In the event of a dispute, the committee’s decision will be final under the auspices of NSWVGA.
REGISTRATION: Will take place at Tuncurry Golf Club between 4.00pm & 6.00pm on Sunday 18 May. Finger food will be served.
NSW VGA MEMBERSHIP: MEN’S & LADIES VETERAN’S MEMBERSHIP CARDS are required to participate in the competition & for inspection at registration. All players must be financial members of the NSWVGA for 2025. Non members can join at registration by contacting the NSWVGA representative for a fee of $5..
TEE TIMES: Full draw & tee times will be available at registration. All players are required to report to the starter at least 20 minutes prior to hit off times. Tee times will be between 7.30am & 12.00pm each day.
HANDICAPS: Handicaps will be adjusted daily in line with NSWVGA recommendations.
TROPHIES: No player may win more than one major prize. All ties will be decided by the AGU count back system. There will be a daily distribution to all ball winners. Major prizes will be presented at the dinner on Thursday 22 May. 36 Hole trophy sponsored by NSWVGA in conjunction with play on Monday & Tuesday.
CARTS: Will be available on both courses – to be requested on booking form. Private carts without a valid cart licence will not be permitted on the course. When booking carts please nominate your requested time to play, early or late. Please note early starters requiring carts will be placed in the first 5 groups to allow carts to be recycled for later players.
It should be noted that the Tournament Committee, Sponsors, Golf Clubs & other suppliers accept no liability for property loss, damages, injury or death incurred or arising out of any aspect of the conduct of this tournament. Days lost due to bad weather; refunds will be at the discretion of the tournament committee.
