CONDITION OF ENTRY
1 ELIGIBILITY
1.1 The event is open to male (55+) and female (50+) amateur golfers with official Australian Handicap (Daily HCP <=25) as at the date of entry and who are a financial playing Members of a PRIVATE GOLF COURSE/CLUB.
(Social & Public Golf Clubs will not be accepted)
2 MATCH COMMITTEE
2.1 The Club’s Match Committee will have sole management and control of the event.
2.2 The Match Committee’s decision on matters affecting the event will be final.
2.3 The decision of the Club’s Match Committee as to acceptance or refusal of any entry will be final.
3 RULES OF PLAY
3.1 The Rules of Golf, as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Rules Limited, will apply together with the Local Rules of the Club. Slow play will not be tolerated (max time for 18 holes is 4 hrs 30 mins)
4 ENTRIES
4.1 Entries will be subject to the approval of the entrant’s home club.
4.2 Entrants must conform in all aspects to the Rules of Amateur Status, as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Rules Limited.
4.3 In the event of entries exceeding the number of places available (96), entries from those higher handicap competitors will be decided by ballot. Unsuccessful entrants will be given the opportunity to compete if withdrawals subsequently occur. Entrance fees will be refunded to entrants balloted out, who do not compete.
4.4 Refunds will not be given following the completion of the Draw.
4.5 Entries must be lodged via MiTournament and must be received by 6pm, Wednesday, June 4.
4.6 Late entries may be accepted with a late payment fee of $10. Late entries will be slotted into available tee positions.
5 THE EVENT
5.1 The event will be played over 18 holes of STROKE PLAY.
5.2 In the event of there being a tie for the overall gross winner of the event, a sudden death playoff will take place to determine the winner. All other ties will be decided by using the Australian Count Back System.
5.3 Players may only win one Major Prize.
5.4 The focus of the Tournament is a GROSS event. Separate Men’s and Ladies Competition with both names appearing on the trophy. Nett prizes will be paid accordingly based on the number of entries
5.5 The draw will be published by 4pm, Friday June 6 on both the Lakelands Country Club & GolfWA websites.
The draw will be done by handicap. No requests for groupings will be accommodated.
6 PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT
6.1 All entrants assent to be bound by the Golf WA’s Code of Conduct. A copy of the code is available at www.golfwa.org.au
7 TEE OFF TIMES
7.1 Tee times. 8:30am shotgun start. The lowest handicapped players (time of the draw) will tee off from holes 1 and 10. Using Blue Tee for Men & Red Tee for Ladies.
8 MOTORISED CARTS
8.1 Bookings must be made by calling the Pro Shop on 9405 4888.
9 Dress Regulations
9.1 On Course: View the Lakelands Country Club website.
9.2 Clubhouse: Smart Casual (Golf shoes may only be worn in the Sports Bar)
