CONDITIONS OF ENTRY LCC OPEN 2025
1 ELIGIBILITY
1.1 The event is open to amateur golfers with an official Australian Handicap as at the date of entry. Hcp limit GA 10 and who are a financial playing Members of a PRIVATE GOLF COURSE. (Social & Public Golf Clubs not accepted)
2 MATCH COMMITTEE
2.1 The Club’s Match Committee will have sole management and control of the event.
2.2 The Match Committee’s decision on matters affecting the event will be final.
2.3 The decision of the Club’s Match Committee as to acceptance or refusal of any entry will be final.
3 RULES OF PLAY
3.1 The Rules of Golf, as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Rules Limited, will apply together with the Local Rules of the Club. Slow play will not be tolerated (max time for 18 holes is 4 hrs 20 mins)
4 ENTRIES
4.1 Entries will be subject to the approval of the entrant’s home club.
4.2 Entrants must conform in all aspects to the Rules of Amateur Status, as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Rules Limited.
4.3 In the event of entries exceeding the number of places available (96), entries will be processed in handicap order and date of nomination. Unsuccessful entrants will be given the opportunity to compete if withdrawals subsequently occur. Entrance fees will be refunded to entrants balloted out, who do not compete.
4.4 Refunds will not be given following the completion of the Draw. The Draw will be posted on GolfWA & Lakelands websites by Tuesday August 19 at 10am.
4.5 Fully paid Entries must be received by 5pm Sunday August 17.
5 THE EVENT
5.1 The event will be played over 36 holes of stroke play Over 2 days.
5.2 The schedule of the event will be as follows; Round 1 – Sat August 23 (AM), Rd 2 – Sun, August 24 (PM).
5.3 In the event of there being a tie for the overall gross winner of the event, a sudden death playoff will take place to determine the winner. All other ties will be decided by using the Australian Count Back System.
5.4 Players may only win one Major Prize.
6 PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT
6.1 All entrants assent to be bound by the Golf WA’s Code of Conduct. A copy of the code is available at www.golfwa.org.au
7 TEE OFF TIMES
7.1 Tee off times will be from 7:00am, Round 1 and 11am Round 2 and may be altered to suit Player numbers.
8 MOTORISED CARTS
8.1 Golfers with an approved Medical Certificate with GolfWA or Lakelands Country Club.
9 Dress Regulations
9.1 On Course: View the Lakelands Country Club website.
9.2 Clubhouse: Smart Casual (Golf shoes may only be worn in the Sports Bar)
10 PRACTICE
One complimentary practice round may be provided on Monday August 18 or Tuesday August 19 to players eligible for the Paxton Averages. Bookings must be made by email to golfmanager@lakelandscc.com.au or proshop@lakelandscc.com.au
