The Australian Men's Amateur is played over 36-holes stroke play qualifying, with the leading 64 players qualifying for elimination match play.
It is open to male golfers, of any age, with a maximum handicap of 2.0. The maximum field size is 216 players. In the event of applications exceeding the number of places available in the Championship, entries from higher handicap competitors who are not exempt as noted in Condition 6 will be decided by handicap ballot.
The entry feee includes two practice rounds, range balls and pull buggies, lunch on the championships days, and fruit and drink on-course.
