The Australian Women's Amateur is played over 36-holes stroke play qualifying, with the leading 32 players qualifying for elimination match play.
It is open to players of any age, with a a maximum handicap limit of 4.0. The maximum field size is 78 players. In the event of applications exceeding the number of places available in the Championship, entries from higher handicap competitors who are not exempt as noted in Condition 6 will be decided by a handicap ballot.
The entry fee includes range balls and pull buggies, lunch on the championship days, and fruit and drinks on-course.
